All of this will change if YR is preggers…How can a dad prefer a man who acts the player vs a man who is trying to be so upright…QM must have his reasons for his behavior towards women…he flirts like crazy, but not with YR.  This drama is very interesting…quite surprising, never know what to expect…however, I will say this again, George’s character is so endearing.  SD takes on the role of father, since he has no father now…and YR takes on the role of mother, since her mom is gone.  They both shoulder the burden of their family…SD’s mom and grand mum seems disconnected with reality, and YR’s sister is the typical younger sister.  When there were together in Boracay, they could be themselves, young couple having fun.  Remember when SD started dancing…and YR was walking so slowly down the aisle…blinking her eyes…that’s the goal, to see them overcome obstacles and real life issues, and maybe the writers will reward us with another wedding ceremony in the end.

  10. Think he is a very talented guy, can play straight as in TAC and funny here. What I would like to know is what’s this pink pants and green pants he seems to like to wear… maybe to contrast from the impeccably dressed ShiDe.

    • I hope he canactgentleman in his rivalry with SD. Don’t let him a petty man, please….. Scriptwriter.
      Until now his character although not as adorable as SD, but quite interesting……

  11. YR has a great dad and as a dad should always look out for the daughter best interest. Although, SD may take honesty to the extreme but I believe SD is very understanding and know how to compromise. The misunderstanding wasn’t build because YR lied. It was because he thought she was playing him since Boracy and when things was clear he understand why she hiding the truth was to protect the company and the employees. During SD visit to YR home he sincerely apologize for all the harm and pain he cause for YR and promise that he will change his personality.  Well, at the end there is some work for SD to convince not only YR but also her dad.

  14. I have to applause to the script writers. They are awesome. There is no way of predicting what will happen next.
    Firstly, we thought grandma would push Chai Rong and Shi De together but it seems like she is understanding or just as long she gets a grand daughter in-law it doesn’t matter.Secondly, never imagine that Qi Ming will help Shi De but than again he might be tricking him and go after Yi Ru instead. Qi Mings’ purpose is really unclear, it seem like he is very protective over Yi Ru but at the same time he is still very generous to other females or his “fishy”. And there is still a chance of a love line between the doctor (Chai Rong).Lastly dad, in the beginning it seem like he was neutral about who Yi Ru date but now he is for Qi Ming. Would he be an obstacle for Yi Ru and Shi De?Anyway, thanks script writer for writing such an addicting show.

    • maybe Qi Ming is making Shi de do stuff super similar to what he did for Yi Ru in the past to see if she is affected? maybe right ha

    • I think the dad is very wise and of course has his daughter’s best interest in mind. He is correct about how SD only sees black and white and doesn’t have any flexibility. How will he react in the future if YR did something else that could hurt him? He needs to be more understanding and learn to compromise.

    •  Of course SD is far better man than QM… However, QM add comedic part to this drama….
      He is so different with his role in Ti amo Chocolate…..

      • I totally prefer Bobby’s character in Ti Amo Chocolate more. But than again, if he doesn’t act sleezy, talk to much, and a player it won’t make Shi De’s character more likeable. It just means Bobby plays well in his character.

        • Bobby seemed cool slick and tall in ti amo chocolate w/ the female character that was extra short; now he just seems short, ordinary, and latino guy next door feel o.O standing next to george….

  17. hope SD can restore the confidence in YR heart…… it seems like YR was really hurt and don’t believe in SD is sincere, wanting to reconcile with her.

  20. I love how the script writer does not make the grandma as an obstacle to SD-YR relationship…..
    At first I thought grandma will push HCR the doctor towards SD…….

  21. SD is so sincere when he was telling YR dad he will change and want to make YR happy.

    Not many man would dare to be so brave to do that ……. SD has guts 🙂 like it
