  4. wahh i didn’t even watch any other episode and I cried (then again, i just re-marathoned X-family). I was kinda excited that they used the battleplace mentioned in KO One Return, but then Dong Cheng Wei popped up and I just started to tear up. What a way to signal the exit of the old generation.

    I don’t get why they always gloss over the fact that Xia Mei has powers when it’s important, like Xia Tian’s good bye message; they should’ve shown shots of her hearing it too. Also, I can’t tell if Xia Yu even said anything. And if you’re going to drop characters, you need to have proper explanations for their inaction.

  8. After reading all your comments, I realized a point, Xia Tian is dead, but not in other dimension! so jin and tong dimension will contiue with jiro….. I hope! BTW, I know this is disrespectful but, this series is boring…… This is the worst season, ever, currently……..

  9. Not the fault of the production team. Aaron Yan and Calvin Chen no longer do comedy shows now only make dramas, is not that the director wants them out of the show is that they are no longer used low quality shows young actors beginners so they are disclosed in showbiz. Less Aaron Yan that had starring roles in popular dramas these last years. Yiro is the only one still help KO series. Aaron and Calvin have not gone or cameos since the x family

  15. If you don’t like the series, don’t bother watching till the last episode and say it sucks. If you don’t like it, don’t bother to even finish the series. Use your brain and stop watching. To you, it may suck but It doesn’t to the others. Appreciate the efforts of the actors. If you think it sucks so much, why not try acting it yourselves? At least they acted and there are people who felt touched. I think even if you acted, I will fall and the ground and laugh my ass off. If you want to see fighting scenes, go find some violence/fighting shows. And if you watch the show because of an actor, you are being too materialistic. So you mean you will watch the show of the actor even when the rating is 1/10? Please. As long the story plot is nice, who cares about who acted in it. Yes, it may change a little but does that mean only the actor you liked lived in the world and he/she should act all day and night? Expose yourself to other actors and you may find out that you might like that person. It just feel like you are the frog in the well. (from a Chinese idiom)

    • Are you stupid or do you have a pea size brain? If we do not watch till the last episode, how would we know that this series sucks? Obviously this series is so crappy compared to the first 3 series. If you feels that the story plot is nice, I’m not sure what you are watching seriously. I mean, did you even watch the first few series? If you did and then you can say this does not sucks then hmm… I’m not really sure what are you watching. I’ll rather watch pokemon than 40eps of this if i were to choose all over again. Btw, you can continue to appreciate crappy shows but do not stop others warning the rest about it because not everyone have weird tastes in dramas like you.

    • how to judge if u dun complete the series the know the complete storyline. ofc have to watch finish to know it suck. some drama suck in the middle but ends nicely and some ppl are happier. you are the frog in a well who wants people to judge without watching. How to judge OR REVIEW without watching finish ?

  17. Omg…….Such a waste of time…I watched 40 episodes for that?!!
    This was the worst Zhong Ji serie!!!!I felt like 90% of the time was in the dormitary only and there was no fighting scene.They didn’t even show the Big war but only the people coming back from it…
    Also there are so much things that they didn’t explain.
    And where are the others? (Lan Ling Wang, Ah Xiang, Si Ren, Achord, Meng Zhu,….?)

    Ko One and X-Family were the best… and Ko3an Guo was acceptable
    It’s so disapointing…it’s just getting worse and worser =/

    • Ko3an guo was acceptable? LOL honestly i think KO3anguo is the best in terms of plot, emotions, comedy and stuff. If you watch back KO1 or X family, u’ll realise that X-family was abit too draggy, and KO1 was abit boring.

  22. X dormitory and KO one 2 are the worst in KO series. In this series,they shouldn’t take out the main characters like Xia Tian and Xia Yu. The plot doesn’t make any scene and a lot of useless talking which makes me feel asleep. Doesn’t even show what happened in the war. I like to watch KO series because of Jiro Wang. Since he is not coming back, there is no reason to watch next KO series.

  26. if they wanted to take out xia tian, xia yu, lan ling wang and meng zu..they should at least let ah xiang return so that at least people will be able to see xiuxiang again..i was soooo looking forward to xiuxiang moments..the plot shows that when xiu cant remember about the war, he gets some images of di a bu luo mo zun telling him to get ‘something’ in return for ah xiang..but at the end he didnt do a thing to get her back..he wasnt even worried about her, not like in KO3anguo when ahxiang went back to jiangdong for awhile, he get xiang si bing..although the front part was kinda boring, i was sooooo looking forward to the ending, only to be disappointed..haiz….n i thought a series focusing on xiuxiang will be coming out…but looks like it isnt…haiz……

    This series is so disappointing. 95% of the time is just looking at them talking crap and making jokes in the not-so-well-propped hostel. Just WULABAHA here and there. Why is it so different from other 终极 series? I see relatively low effort in production team for this series. So little outdoor scene and real scenes out of the hostel. HAIXXX.

  30. ok. so i had tears trickling down my cheeks. i admit that. my dong ge is gone with all the other old actors.
    but i am still very dissapointed with this series.
    like what everybody said. if you want to have them removed, please do it nice and sweet??
    most of us endured to the last episode to at least see a bloody big battle scene a showdown against dia bu luo mo zhun. and ended up everybody returned like they have been starved for days. doesn’t seem like they went for a battle.
    Seriously, frankly speaking, it is getting more and more boring without all the old actors especially dong ge. from san guo onwards was already barely there but thanks to all the battle scenes and plot it made it through.
    hope the producer will thoroughly look through comments and opinion of ours.

  31. Actually in KO 2 the producer already has the intention to replace all the old cast
    with the new cast. In KO 2 opening song sang by Spexial, there is one line which
    goes like these: wo men si choo qiao.

I was thinking, if the producers want to write Xia Tian, Xia Yu and the rest as “dead because of sacrificing themselves in the war with the devils”, why don’t they actually produce the war scene in the last episode with Xia Tian and the rests trying their best to fight the war but both the good side and bad side were severly injured? I mean, atleast show the faces of the old casts. Before the last episode came out, watched 女人我最大 and Xin Mei Jie & Han was like saying they were acting together for the scene where Xia Tian came back. So, I got really excited to watch the ending, because I LOVE Xia Tian and the old casts so much. But the ending disappoints me heavily, because Xia Tian and the rest died, and how we know Xia Tian and the rest died was from Xia Tian’s words only. Like wth. Atleast show the old casts faces like cameo appearance or something. Because is really like a taboo to just annouced dead of important characters out of nowhere without specifying the details. And the series really became pointless because it tells that “Xia Tian training in The X-Family to become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren was pointless because in the end he still die in X-Dorm”. The show broke so many hearts of Zhong Ji fans like seriously. If they want to make a sequel out of The X-Family, they shouldn’t even remove the old casts from the main series like Xia Tian and Xia Yu and the rest. It is fine to add new casts from not remove the soul actors of the series. EXAMPLE like they continue a sequel for KO.Sanguo 2 and all the soul actors Wu Hu Jiang all disappear and annouced as dead and let new casts carry on the sequel, cannot right? Then what’s the point of the first series. It is really disappointing, that’s why I’m typing out my opinions so long. It makes me just want to erase this series from my head and convince myself that Zhong Ji series stopped at K.O. Re-act (oh btw, K.O return was bullshit after 16 episodes, luckily they saved it back by creating K.O Re-act, if not my heart will really sank to the bottom).

    Bye to this shouldn’t-exist-zhongji-series-6, you really shouldn’t exist at all.

  34. “Zhongji xi lie” was suppose to have jiro as main cast , but then ko3anguo didn’t really show his scene as I think it’s a diff dimension. Nao the x dormitory doesn’t have jiro is because jiro is not working for comedy shows alr(?) I’m not sure ;-; something just doesn’t feel right without jiro… Since ko. 1 , till ko 1 re act.. haizz.. “Zhongji xi lie” won’t be as famous in the future (unless to ppl who haven watch the whole story)

(one of them is actually 14 so.) so not looking forward to it…………………………………..

  43. if the original cast isn’t coming back, then they shouldn’t even have tried to continue the story in the Metal Dimension. Just like in KO San Guo, the story took place in a new dimension, with many new characters and good plot. What I didn’t like about this series was that they kept dangling the old cast to keep the fans watching. But it was quite obvious they wouldn’t be coming back.

  44. So disappointed. Not becos of the cast but becos of the whole plot. Too much un-needed scenes, H-league not explained, 同归于尽 suppose to mean die together and the devil still survives? Lets put it this way, lets say jiro, danson, aaron, calvin and peici combined together to sacrifice thus all did not come back, with those forces combined and devil still not dead means the devil is much stronger than all of them. So why the war dragged on for 10 years? Logic? Zhongji series have all along consist of 1/3 fight scenes 1/3 love scenes and 1/3 comedy scenes. but all i see here is 20% comedy and 80% love/sad scenes. Not living up to the name of 终极 at all. 脩 is supposed to be part of the team who went for war but got sent back on a mission, meaning his ability powers are of a certain standard compared to those who stayed behind, but why cant he do shit after he came back? Why isn’t he showing anxiety when he didnt see peici come back after the war? Would a husband be reacting that way when his wife is missing after a war end? Totally makes no sense, waste of money, actor’s time, viewer’s anticipation and time.

    So now let’s say we view this as an individual drama by itself and not tagging the 终极 name to it. I don’t think the viewer ratings will be able to survive past episode 3 due to the lack in creativity, poor jokes and lack of details for certain scenes.

    So now we all know theres a 7th series coming out talking abt 铜时空. So now what’s gonna be happening? I don’t mean the plot i mean the 终极 fan base. After this poorly made part 6, i do believe alot of us have given up hopes on any later parts coming out. New casts will surface which most ppl disliked, supposingly a worse off plot after watching X dorm, more lovey dovey no fighting?

    To be honest, I’m really not against not seeing any old faces like jiro or aaron etc cos we all know new actors and actresses needed to be given a chance. But this is NOT 麻辣鲜师, bringing in new actors using same storyline will not work out fine. 麻辣talks abt school life, so ppl can come and go by graduating. This is 终极 which evolves around dimensions and people having same faces but different identity. The scriptwriter has really got to get his facts right before making more shit. Its really very very disappointing. I should have just stopped watching after 三国….

  46. I cried so much when the part when shia tian used 傳音入秘! And also the part when tsang tshiong enters the room and said to bring shia tian back for han…. and the part when tsang tsiong came back from war and cried also when he didnt save shia tian and shia yu… :`( Why does the director let shia tian and shia yu sacrifice but the bad guy still is alive!!! But even though, I still love KO series!!!!!! Please have more series with wang dong tseng and shu and pets tseng!!! Please!!!!

We waited 5yrs to see XiuXiang and longer to see XiaTian and XiaYu, but in the end, what you give us is their death news?! -_- to think that I put all my feelings aside while watching K.O.One 2 and 3 to get to see what I have been missing, only to get THIS? -_- regardless whether the journey was fun or not, they shouldnt end it like this!

    But i appreciate that at least this X dormitory still has xiong ge, ah gong and the few other old characters.
    I think besides not using the original Fahrenheit cast, the plot isn’t good either. Even though KO3anguo has rarely any fahrenheit cast or original actors, it was still a good and exciting story line that never ceases to amaze.
    Sure it would be fantastic if most or all the original characters are in this series again, but i think the story plot needs to be worked on. It seems as if the essence of KO series is gone.
    Sad to say i kinda agree that they should just stop the series at KO3anguo, it would nicely complete all KO series.

This show was very lacking in many ways, but I do believe they tried to do with what they can, they probably didn’t want this season to be such a disappointment… It was such a bad ending, it surely wouldn’t have hurt to show xiatian in the last episode, or ahxiang, since they managed to get them to record their voices and that bit of guilong’s appearance… Too many loose ends, and many parts didn’t even make sense. Remember the times when diablomozun was portrayed by wuzun and was really cool and scary but now its just a cg character with sarcasm?? I really don’t like how they had diablo still survive.. If bOTH xiatian and xiayu were sacrificed, and mengzhu and lanlingwang and all of them, how can diablo still survive?? And still seek revenge. Its ridiculous. They could have just ended the whole series here. Since the true ko cast is all gone.

Seriously I know I may be too mainstream complaining about the disappearance of Fahrenheit in this show.I mean like,this drama was to 捧紅 飛輪海，if they wanna make SpeXial popular,why cnt they create another series.Isnt it better to have a series for themselves?like it would be all their hardwork instead of just leeching of others hardwork.It just spoils everything.

    The producers should seriously read our comments and go along with OUR plot if they gt no better ideas.Isnt it easier to just follow and den get better credits?Or do the producers secretly enjoy bad comments.Seriously think smarter cn?

    What’s the whole point of H聯盟in this story serious?Just to tell us that 翼能行者 should not use their yineng yet they still keep using?

    And so gu gu just have this sudden change of face in this drama?and she dun have much of the 我聽不到 parts? And she didn’t even bother to look for her husband?

    And Xiu, so powerful in the other series, just died down and become a weakling, not being able to do anything to help the Yi neng xing zhe?And he didn’t seem to worry about ahxiang much yeah?

    What happen to Wu Chun, that promised to come back when the evil overtakes the good?

    You see there are just too many loopholes and the minor details are not taken of of.What happen to the meticulous producers, who wowed me with their links in each story that is so cool and mind blowing, like the one in San guo,(where si ren found his twin)

    What’s the point of having the other SpeXial members to just show their faces for a few seconds.Do u noe that this may cause the SpeXial to have more haters instead of having more fans?Whats runnin in the minds of those producers seriously.

    one part I appreciate about this is that they still uses ah gong,xia Mei, and xiong ge.They are really the ones that keep this drama going.I really love Ah Gong.Cang Qiong was not bad either,and Ye Shen too.(but Ye Shen is stuck at acting his innocent characters).

    One advice for the producers:Maybe the lucky star for our favorite 終極系列 is just Fahrenheit and George Hu and Danson Tang and Ah Gong and Duan Chang Ren.They are the經典.And if u want other 經典 to happen in this series, they are the recipe.Can u just use these 原班人馬, sit back and watch our responses.

    • they are unable to use the original people.they already tried.fahrenheit isn’t under comic ritz contract anymore, plus they disbanded so the company would want to use spexial instead.and 吳尊 isn’t acting in drama series anymore Cus of his family, 唐禹哲 is busy filming 女人30 at that time so there’s a clash.亞倫 was busy filming 愛上兩個我 so many of the original people are busy acting as leads for their own shows therefore theres no time.i believe the directors would definitely want the original cast themselves but there are constraints.

        • I don’t think the original actors are interested in another Xseries….it is not wrong promote new idol groups but the script is way too subpar than the first 3 series.

          Hope 可米 would stop making another Xseries drama….可米 has already ruined the franchise (and our fond teenage memories) beyond repair….

  76. It’s not totally about the money of not able to get the original actors to act in the KO series, is more of the actors themselves. They might not be able to commit fully to this entire series or they have better dramas or movies for their career. No one will want to act in the KO series forever. Nobody would want to have this kind of ending if they are able to get the actors back right. If you guys like KO series, you all have to start getting used to new actors joining and the old actors disappearing. That’s how the industry works. Be glad for the original actors because they have better choice of dramas instead of being stuck in this KO series. Of cos the only complain is there isn’t really much fighting and it definitely lose the KO feel for this drama.

I understand that they probably can’t exactly have jiro go on forever but he is definitely the heart of all the series without him it does seem like the series is missing something but I thought this one series wasn’t entirely bad it just left a few things unexplained and a couple that didn’t get finished up or did but in a way it feels kind of incomplete. It was sad but still kinda fun.

    No fighting, no wu la ba ha, the biggest fighting scene was the play where they were fighting the old people at League of Hunters (H lian meng) HQ. Right when I thought story was reaching the climax the season has to end this abrupty. They did just created the X warrior in 2mins planted in to idol series with a stupid Taiwan soap opera?! Creating someone this important to a dimension used to be a feat, I didn’t think X warrior was a big deal.

    This entire season is a joke. I got duped into watching.

  87. So Xia Tian had the help of Zhong Ji X Ke Ren and he still needed to execute the “ultimate” move by sacrificing himself to fend off Diablo? And Diablo is still around after that ultimate move? What the heck? But I got to say, this is Hong Zheng’s best acting.

    So many darn loose ends as usual. I wanna see Ah Xiang! Damn it man! And Xiu, he possessed the darn pure element of Wind, the MVP in KO3anguo and he seemed to be a total weakass in this series. Seriously, I don’t get these actors, especially the veterans. Are they really lacking in money? How could they sign to do this kind of show with shitty scripts?

  89. what was the point of julia telling them who she was if she was going to make them forget. i find the new 终极 series is ruining the 终极 series. The old ones were really awsome and and the new ones are just ruining it. Sometimes i wonder if the producer or director realize they just ruined some of my childhood by writing this bullshit. for the whole series i was like i hope i see xia tian, xia yu, meng zhu and Lan Ling Wang.( i know jiro showed up, but it was gui long he portrayed not the xian tian)

    • first i continued to watched to see if xia tian, xia yu, lan ling wang and meng zhu will ever show up. and we can complain if they crushed our childhood dreams. i know am being a jerk but they raised my hope and killed it by killing xia tian and the others. i think i rather they not continue the series if they are going to ruin the show.         • it doesn’t solve anything when you just stop watching when a show is bad, we complain in the hope that they may hear us and try to make things better. as dedicated ko series fans it pains us to see how they destroy the precious memory of our childhood, it isn’t a choice whether to watch it or not, we must watch it out of our love and passion for the series, at the same time we must voice our opinions to prevent them from completely sabotaging the whole ko series by filming those horribly made sequels. and I definitely don’t agree with you that it’s their choice whether to continue or not, the audience base is what gets this show worth continuing, if they have done a better job they might successfully promote Spexial to be the new wu hu jiang (possibly not Fahrenheit but wu hu jiang is reachable with a good story), they get their money and we get our story. this is not happening right now but could happen in the future, so what we can do is to keep the discussion open and let them realize what they did wrong.

This is just pure bullshit. Dont come out with something when you have nothing better to show us dude. I’ll give this drama a 3/10 compared to the previous few series. This is just the worst bullshit i’ve seen. Its not about the actors, its about your storyline. And for goodness sake, 终极 series supposed to be a action/love movie.   96. What kind of ending is this? Is this the ending that we endured 40 long episodes for? The carrot that they keep dangling to keep us watching is only this? If they couldn’t give us what we wanted, then what’s the point of even filming this show? I’d rather they give us a crappy “oh 夏天 married 寒 and everybody lived happily ever after” and move on to the next 终极恶女. I really don’t get it. They already have a concept for the Bronze Dimension, why even bother ruining the Iron Dimension for us? I get that 夏天 is the 终极铁克人 and will have to participate in every major battle again Diablo, but I’d rather he just keep cameoing as the series go through instead of killing him off altogether. This show has totally lost the 终极 spirit when it got too ambitious.

      • And not forgetting 兰陵王. If they can’t handle characters with such rich history and relationships then don’t touch them at all. The ending just doesn’t make sense. In The X-Family, 夏天, 夏宇, 盟主, 兰陵王, 寒, 东城卫 and a chord, with the combined powers of the pure elemental holders, are enough to even make 火焰使者 think twice about killing them, deeming them as enough to keep the balance between good and evil. Now they have 阿香 added into the fighters and it ain’t enough to stop Diablo 魔尊 through the years even with the long awaited 终极X克人 added into the frey? What then is the use of waiting for the 终极X克人 to appear? So that 夏天 can take a good look at the person he can entrust his beloved 寒 to? If Diablo 魔尊 is so powerful this time round, then why didn’t 火焰使者 appear? Didn’t he himself say that if evil becomes too much for them to handle he will appear again?

I felt it strange in the beginning when Xiamei “fell” for Xiu without thinking about Lan lin Wang, in fact no mention about him at all! And how did so many survive when the stronger ones have been killed. And Cang Qiong being the chosen one was just a abrupt and lame excuse to end everything. If he was the chosen one, why did Diablo want to get Xiaxiong? Shouldn’t he be getting Cang Qiong to join his end? Plus, if they did say they sacrifice for the dimension, why is Diablo still alive?! And Diablo being just a CGI image is even worse. Reminds me of that kiddy show, M riders.

I have no offense with new actors they want to use, but at least for god sake how can you make a series and end up 夏天，夏宇 not even back. Like WHAT IS THIS. At least come out with better storylines and make sure to film everything. Why bother to film something that is a piece of rush work here and there mix it up together = 终极 series.   100. To my surprise, in the end I cried. They did tug my heartstrings for this series, at the very last episode, the last 5 minutes. Being a fan of this series, this sequel of X family has been nothing but disappointments. I think everyone in the actors and actresses did well (Though I still prefer the old “Gu gu”) but it is the writers and the producers that have lost the original essence of what the X family or any Ko series is about. Even the not so great Ko Re-act had fighting scenes but we hardly see any of it here.
    As viewers, we do have to come in terms to the ending, but I wished they made the whole show shorter. In my opinion it could have ended in about 17 episodes, instead of bringing us a whole round and going back to square one.
    I do like how they created the character Juliet and her background but killing her off with memory erasing is just too abrupt. All the emotions just gone like that.
    I do admit the show has been funny to some extend but I guess the original X family has already set the bar too high. I enjoyed all 55 episodes it had but here I find myself watching only because I want to know what would happen in the end, which I think everyone was on the same page – whether XiaTian, XiaYu and Ahxiang would come back.
    I detest the fact they neglected the strong relationship that Ahxiang and Xiu had and how Xiu became a totally useless person here, despite his great performance in X family and Ko 3ango. It was as if they try to connect it back to X family or any of the other series but it was merely a touch and go.
    Overall, I just wished they gave us a better quality series with lesser episodes but just as good or even better than the original. Then again, there probably has been many things restraining them to do so, budget, schedules etc.
    Am not looking forward to the next series, as rumoured but shall stick around to see how things unfold. We as fans, has to grow up I guess, things won’t be as good as it was before, things changes.
    Am still a big fan of Ko and X family, shall go back and rewatch the old series to recuperate from this 40 episode drama.

    • even if there are a few selfish ones in the lot, a lot of us are fans of this series who do desire a good drama with a more fleshed-out plot. personally, i’d given up on fahrenheit ever returning as leads years ago, since i would occasionally learn of their developments in the entertainment industry–they had to move on from this eventually.

      we watched this drama, because we wanted to have faith that this series would be better as it progresses in the story. many of us here have followed past instalments for years, and they’ve all been fulfilling and satisfying with or without fahrenheit (ko3anguo is actually my favourite). however, x-dormitory has been disappointing, and you can expect 99% of viewers to agree with me, just look at the comments. it has done injustice to its potential, its cast, its audience, to the entire ko series. fahrenheit has moved on, but this production crew still hangs on to them as bait for viewers, and the constant altering of the crew has also been detrimental to the essence of this show.

      we’re not selfish. we just wanted to see the series we love treat itself and its viewers well, and not become a tool

        Didnt u watch like 3 mins ago., before te part where Xiong ge said they didnt die.. Xia Tian told Xiong Ge that they all sacrificed to end the war so dont wont be coming back, sorry for being a unfilial child; and to Han, Xia tian said that by finally seeing someone who loves her fully (Cang qiong) he can finally fight againt the mo. And he wont be coming back.
        When xiong ge said that they will be coming back was a lie to Xia Mei cause Xia mei cant hear the messages directed to Xiong Ge and Han… so they just said they have another mission. (Didnt u see how Cang Qiong was crying so hard and saying sorry that he didnt manage to save the rest…)
        In this season of ZOng Ji, Xia Tian (and his other form)is tthe maib lead… if u follow since XFamily, Zong ji yi ban, Etc Xia Tian was always the main. Althogh u r rigH technically, Xia Tian is not the main lead here, but still…

    • Xia Tian says that he misses home, he misses all of them. Sometimes he wish that he wasn’t even 终极铁克人 so that he won’t need to leave home. Sometimes he even felt like giving up. Please forgive him and Xia Yu for not being able to come back and accompany them. He told them to take good care of themselves. He told Han that he already knew that by sacrificing himself, then the war may end. Please forgive him for making this selfish decision. He wants Han to take care of his mother, Xia Mei and Ah Gong. He said that he actually already saw a guy (Chang Chong) who loves Han wholeheartedly during the war, which is why he didn’t have any concerns and was able to fight the big boss. Goodbye, my love ones.
