  1. I’m quite surprised no one commented on the scene whereby Qingmei tried to escape and everyone tried to stop her. That scene is worth mentioning. Looked like most of you are in the Ai Jia & Zhongqi’s bandwagon. But I’m not really blaming you all. Lol. Just felt that the actress playing Qingmei Ahyi’s character is impressively believable. I love how she’s able to potray both funny and sad emotions with such distinction.

  5. This was a great episode! I think they are both starting to have feelings for each other but because aijia is innocent she actually won’t notice so they won’t get together that quickly! beginning of the romance is the best part of a drama, totally looking forward to how The director plays it out. hope it’s not the typical plots!

  7. 雖然這個劇是一星期播５天但劇情比三立現在播的星期天偶像劇更好看，劇情也走得比較快～　第一次看那麼長的台劇，但劇情，拍攝手法都很好！！

    Also I really really hope that the hospidal scene is someones dream not reality..please do not make them fall so quick into “i love you” thingie..

    Let them have more time to figure out the feelings, pleaseeeeeeeeee 🙁

      • AiJia probably does have the same feelings if not more for ZhongQi, but can’t quite figure out what that feeling is yet… 

        *sigh* I’m conflicted with the speed of the drama… On one hand, I’m happy that it’s moving along at a good pace… YiJie and WeiXiang moved at about the same speed too, BUT they were married and bound by a “contract” to grandma, so the relationship couldn’t fall apart too roughly (besides divorce, which was kind of forced upon them), but ZhongQi and AiJia isn’t married, so if it breaks, it might crumble… but on another hand… there is still 50 episodes left which means that if they get together within these next two weeks.. there is going to be episodes of people trying to tear them apart or things happening that would cause them to want to be apart, so I would rather let their 好感 for each other sit on a low simmer and just become perfect in the end BUT I want fluff scenes of them!! The whole ZhongQi is constantly aware of AiJia is super sweet, and I LOVE it, BUT I WANT MORE!! I WANT KISSES.. hehehe (^///3///^)…. argh!!! I don’t know!!!! 馮凱 has a pattern that he follows and he usually follows it very well. Only thing with 真愛 was the dragging at the end and that was because they had to accommodate with Ti Amo Chocolate’s delayed schedule… (*pouts* stupid Ti Amo)…. So if 剩女 isn’t dragged on, and is played out the way 馮凱 wants, then it should end on perfect and ZhongQi AiJia would not get together till they are SURE about each other’s feelings… Which is at about ep70 or so…. AHHHH I DON”T KNOW!!!! They need to show episodes on weekends too…! 

        Also.. all this judgement about the way 孟耿如 looks in the drama makes me a bit sad. 馮凱 is good with picking his leads. He lets people that are unnoticed, but with talent ~Shine~.. 陳庭妮 was criticized about her looks in the beginning of 真愛, but that was cause budget was still sorta low. We need to keep supporting 剩女 so that 我們家耿如也可以有新衣服新造型!加油加油加油!!!!!

  14. The 30th mark!
    But really, I have to say that the directors are doing everything to quickly.
    Zhongqi is showing lots of signs that he likes ai jia. I just hope they can pull together for 50 more episodes.
    And ai jia’s dad really has to let ai jia love someone from the opposite gender! Like, sheesh.
    Otherwise, I LOVED this episode. Can’t wait for the next <3

  19. Half of this episode just hit the spot for me, because I know people who are personally in the same kind of situation as Qingmei yi. Husband racks a pile of debts, disappears, runs off with another woman. I was sobbing all throughout the dialogue when Ting Ting explained that Qingmei yi hates secrets because her life was ruined by her husband’s secrets, and when Qingmei yi said goodbye to Ai Jia, her “daughter”. I liked how this episode showed that Qingmei yi really can’t keep secrets from the people who care most deeply for her…. and needs to stop using escapism to deal with her problems.
    But the second half of the ep with the Dan Gao Da was really ridiculous. It was like some kind of sick joke…  I’m so glad that Dan Gao Da is not a recurring character. Haha. Like some crazy cake man that came from willy wonka’s chocolate factory.

    It was a bit strange and funny seeing Zhongqi hug Ai Jia and try to shake the wits out of her after she used her two bare hands to slam on the paper cups (defying all manner of logic because there were 2 paper cups with nails underneath). He really doesn’t know how to show a woman that he cares. I’m getting a bit frightened that the romance is progressing too fast. He does get somewhat tender towards her too (e.g. putting his arm around her when she cries). But I still think that Zhongqi and Ai Jia will take some time to get together because 1) he’s never been in love before and doesn’t know how to deal with a romantic relationship and 2) she hasn’t sensed that he’s in love with her and she obviously doesn’t feel the same way, yet (or she just has not realized it). These two make a SUPER cute couple, but it’s almost certain that they will fizzle out after getting together – what do you think? Slow down, show! 

    Do you guys realize that Zhongqi has tried to protect Ai Jia so far but is failing? It’s always her intervening at the last moment to sweep him away from danger’s clutch. It’s rather interesting because 
     I don’t know how they’re gonna make him feel more masculine enough to woo her (in typical idol drama fashion) when she’s obviously so much quicker, stronger and faster than him. I predict it’s something to do with the “zhi” that Ai Jia gave away to Zhongqi as a child. Ai Jia is really simple-minded, lacking in wisdom on the ways of the world, and Zhongqi can help to plug that gap. Like how he dealt with the whole band situation, runs the company, etc. Zhongqi is much smarter than her and  knows how to get around in the world.

    Credible bits include Alan and Cai Jie – I like the comfortable feel that they’re exuding as a couple now, and their scenes are actually quite sweet, and also Cheng En’s acting. Like a cute boy buying bubble tea for girlfrennnn…*squee* He’s short though!

    As much as I adore Xiaogui, I must admit that his English pronunciation wasn’t that great, though. Eeps. Dan Gao Da actually pronounced “business” correctly before Zhongqi “corrected” him with the wrong pronunciation! Ha ha.  

    Time for a new story arch, show? Bring us Alan’s beau!

    • Haha, even if they are getting tgt soon, there will be more problems to obstruct between them, heard that zhongqi mom are against the 2 of them. Anyway ya, the dan gao da pronounced ‘business’  correctly. I was blur when  I heard zhongqi  pronounced the wrong one. 🙂

    • Ai jia did explain why she used 2 hands to slam the paper cups instead of 1 —– so that the chance of hitting the one without the nail is higher. So its not like what you said “defying all manner of logic”.

      • er… I thought crazy cake man said that if you hit the nail the debt won’t get cleared? And if she uses 2 hands she will definitely hit at least one nail cos there are 2 out there… haha… still doesn’t make sense to me

    • Why is dan gao da’s part a sick joke? Its just meant to be a humorous part of the drama, different from the usual demanding of money or threatening to kill. A funny twist in the story won’t do much harm.
