    • i believe they will, only not so soon. for now zhongqi haven’t even display any signs of affections for aijia, it is only aijia who obviously like zhongqi only tat she doesn’t noe. this drama is well-paced. i believe the 2 will only be together at around episode 50+

  11. The first 10 minutes of this ep. was rather dull. Ok, the scenes between Alan and Qin Ma are getting a little bit redundant, but I think the writers are building up to something. Perhaps when Alan will become part of the family? That said, I wonder what became of cute little Winnie? They cut his screen time by like 100%!

    Zhongqi conquered the sea! Honestly, I can’t believe they would let someone who can’t swim learn how to windsurf. That’s mega dangerous, can. But he did it! Along with his 3 cheerleaders! Anyway, can someone tell me which part of Taiwan Ai Jia and Zhongqi are at? Somewhere along which coast?

    Finally, the Alan-Zhongqi bromance is working wonders in nudging Zhongqi towards Ai Jia, to have some kind of “response” towards her. But both of them are still rather awkward toward each other. (: Still early days, people. You can tell there’s something between them, but there are so many other issues in the way first – Ai Jia has conquered some of her inner demons and her fatherly opposition to living a normal life, but Zhongqi is far from conquering his (the shadow of his parents’ death, the expectations from his current family).

    I find it really amazing that Zhongqi is going along with Ai Jia’s nonsensical journey to fulfill his childhood wishes based on a bet. He’s doing it just to humour her, really. And she in return goes against his own family principles and upbringing by “climbing a wall” and breaking the rules. To the non-native Mandarin speakers watching this series, it’s really funny because 做蛋糕 has double meanings and Zhongqi intimates that he meant he wanted to “make a shit” on the command post instead of “bake a cake”.  Hence it’s really funny because everyone thinks that one of his childhood wishes is to do the former, and Qingmei yi goes all out to teach Ai Jia how to literally bake a cake! Haha… protracted punny joke (: 

    We finally found out why Zhongqi doesn’t like his head touched, cos his gold-digging relatives kept pressing down his head to make him pay his last respects to his parents when the search and rescue were still out there looking for his parents at sea..nice emotional touch to this character’s little quirk. 

    That said, this wasn’t one of the better episodes, and I’m crossing my fingers that it’s gonna get better…guess if there were more mini-archs (like Zhang Jiazhen) it will keep the content fresh.

    • hey don’t worry about the others, personally i found your comments quite interesting and i actually do share some of your views.
      just let you know something about that surfing segment (not windsurfing). if you go to a surf school and tell them you can’t swim, that is basically what they will do, make you cope and learn to stand on your surf board. don’t really understand the theory behind that but that just what they do. 
      anyway keep up with the comments
      its been really entertaining

    • Thanks so much for the daily reviews. They sure fill in a lot of gaps for me. And yes, I find Qin Ma treating Alan like as if he’s her psychiatrist a bit weird. I mean who would go to a cosmetic surgeon daily to spill their guts. Having said that, this is one addictive drama. Btw, what does “hui ying” means (the part about Alan asking ZhongQi to hui ying AiJie)??

    • oooo this is gonna be my new favourite scene… zhongqi said should I give you some hui ying… then aijia is so blur and thinks that she needs to hui ying him… and only zhongqi feels the awkwardness!! lol…. 
      but thinking about it how can aijia be really so clueless to such things? then how did she even date her first love the last time??
