Shao Ran is selfish…how can he just hug Yong Qi and said thank you, then walk away so quickly … show more gratitude because she was so sincere in helping him to regain his fate/luck.
I do not think Shao Ran is selfish but he does not know how to express himself. From the expression, he seems to feel bad about it and talk to the yong qi at the roof top. I believe he will slowly show his gratitude later in the show.

so cute when shao ran was hiding under the blanket saying he doesn’t wanna hear yong qi’s fangirl talk over a book character and how yong qi kept tugging at his blanket! yayy they’re misunderstandings are cleared and they’re friends again!!
