4. Love it… you dont understand each other’s languages, (Japanese and Mandarin) but everyone communicates and understand each other in sign language.. thats so great and powerful!!

   • I was always confused on this..Japanese and Chinese have different sign languages (sign language is not universal). I’m not sure which kind they are using, but I do not think understanding one means understanding the other.

     Plus, 小彩 speaks Chinese. She writes in Chinese, and can understand when it is spoken. When she is in Japan she writes in Japanese. So sign language is not some kind of great connector, it is just that 小彩 speaks both languages.
