  1. i guess the storyline is really getting a little boring as in how more does it take for them to be together ? like after 16 episodes and hailin and xiwei are still stuck like this . is this going to be forever ?!

  9. I really don’t like the way Hai Ling approaches You Xi. I understand she went through a lot when Xi Wei died 5 years ago, and she does deserve to be happy. However, her choices up until now have hurt You Xi too. I don’t blame You Xi for having insecurities and feeling jealous towards Hai Ling; it’s been that way her entire life, and unless we are put in her situation, we are in no position to judge her. You Xi has done a lot of cruel things against Hai Ling, and she should truly repent for her actions. I believe she loves Xi Wei, it might not be in the traditional sense of “drama love”, but she is hurt by how Xi Wei always gave her the cold shoulder. The fact that he did that was probably how she started becoming this clingy obsessive person. I am not saying it is all Xi Wei’s fault; they are both at fault. However, he should have broke it off with her earlier on in the relationship b/c based on the flashbacks, he didn’t ever feel anything for her. He just seems like one of those guys that doesn’t know what they want from a relationship, someone really likes them, so they just settle for that until someone more compatible came along and shows them the “love” they didn’t know they wanted. If I were in You Xi’s position or if this drama was done through her perspective, I’m sure I would feel the same way she does. She did put in so much time and everything she was into the relationship, but she never got the grandfather’s acceptance or Xi Wei’s love. She is a little pathetic and naive, but from everyone telling her that “you can’t force people to love you” when she’s going through a difficult break up, and Hai Ling always acting like the victim, even though she ends up with everything, it is unfair. Also with a mother and father like that, it’s hard to blame her for having a negative mentality.

    • Hmm I feel that it’s really not that possible that Youxi and Xiwei can be together for 5 years and not separate cause it’s not really normal for a couple to act like that. So if Youxi really is unhappy, she should’ve left him and not act like someone is snatching her boyfriend away? I’m not so sure but probably she should have blamed more on Xiwei and not Hailin?

    • You must really like Yo Xi. lol I really dislike her character in all the dramas she has been portrayed in so far. There is not a single drama where her character is naive. haha! I think YX is very selfish and HL has been giving up XW until this episode. HL deserves XW as much as YX; however, it is about time we see a change in the storyline. YX is indeed an obsessive creature and I don’t pity her at all. It is her parents who shaped her to become the person she is today–especially with a mother who wants to be better than HL’s mother, it seems like she lacks supportive parents, unlike HL who has a caring, loving mother.

    • Well said about Xi Wei settling, not knowing what he wanted yet kept Yo Xi hanging on for 5 years. Yo Xi is pretty dumb too can she not tell there’s no love coz Xi Wei doesn’t even want to kiss her? It took 2 idiots to continue a relationship that doesn’t work and has not worked for 5 years.
