i was a little bit disturbed that she seemed like falling for another man while being married. i might be prudish but i think she was too unforgiving towards her husband. he resisted the sexual advances of a colleague and was loyal to her. his misdemeanor was of the past not if the present.he loved her and was very distraught to have known in her diary she was planning for a divorce. she should give her husband another chance and should not blame him for not coming clean about his past affair. nobody doesnt keep secrets.all of us do.

It is wrong to have an affair, be it woman or man. However, after living an unchanging life, when things become bland, when tomorrow isn’t exciting, people tend to lose themselves. At that lowest point, when someone steps into your life and changes your life in which tomorrow seems like a better day, you try to grab that. It is like an exit, a beam of sunlight in that nightmare you were in. For YiZhen, her life was at its lowest; two miscarriages, inconsiderate sister and mother-in-law, her husband always busy from work, and Sean stepped in, bringing hope into her life once again.
Everything happens for a reason. It isn’t easy to break off a marriage with your first love, but it is difficult to trust someone again after realizing your first love had hid a secret from you for so many years.

It seems that Shaowen is not really busy. He can always make the time to come home early or track his wife.
Somehow, the performance of the actress portraying Han Xiang Qi comes across as being poor or just strangely out of place compared to the general feel of the show.

Great acting from this drama
is there something wrong with han xiang qi’s mouth. nothing against her, but her enunciation is terrible. sounds like her teeth are gnashing the words.
and her acting performance is generally quite poor really. especially when you compare against the good performances from the other characters
She is playing with fire. You know your marriage are at tense and you have some feeling for this guy, that’s all the more reason to stay away from him for the time being. To calm down and sort your feeling out first.
However, men are selfish. Be it woman or man.
Love this show! I love how a lot of the books on Professor Lo’s shelves don’t have anything to do with architecture (eg. Fairy Tales, Star Wars… haha).
From Sean’s looks, he is falling for her fast … Yi Zhen’s heart is no longer at home! Agree that it is never right to have an affair whether man or woman … but this is just a different story line drama and this is a truly practical and realistic scenario whether most of us like or agree with it.
Only merrit is good acting. Having an affair is disgusting. The lady broke her wedding vows and the bookstore owner is a jerk trying to snatch someone else wife. Eww…
