What moved me the most was seeing Bu Fan’s reaction about Bo Hai. How he was the one who worried about Bo Hai when It was pointed out the wedding ceremony was not complete, how he dragged Man Man off to see Bo Hai! How his heart leapt when he saw the weak Bo Hai beside the comatose self, how he quickly went forward to help him and his horror when Bo Hai left Man Man and mum in his care and disappeared! How he went to grab BoHai’s hand when the heart rate went flat, I could feel his sorrow went deeper than Man Man’s (which was more an unjust, how could this happen sorrow). How his heart leapt again when Bo Hai woke up, what joy that his friend was back to life!
I then saw Bu Fan’s vulnerability as never before. Although he led her to see Bo Hai at the hospital room, his heart sank to the depths when she released his hand to go to Bo Hai. His heart shattered to bits when Ms Tang asked Man Man to spend time with Bo Hai often. That sudden hug showed how Bu Fan was anxious, desperate, hopeless, afraid to lose Man Man, afraid to be alone agaIn, feeling inferior to Bo Hai! He stood vulnerable before Man Man when he admitted his fear that she would choose Bo Hai. Unfaltering Man Man chose Bu Fan without hesitation.
Man man looked cute when she put her chin on BuFan shoulder. Very sweet 🙂

Yeah the show really went that way! Those hints about tears having effect on Bo Hai.. I’m glad Bo Hai woke up. I don’t want to see Bu Fan and Man Man suffer too. I guess it’s a good start that Man Man was so sure and reassuring to Bu Fan.

Wow expected Man Man to display more internal struggle after finding out about Bo Hai but she easily chose Bu Fan so Bu Fan, you have no reason to feel insecure! I still think Bo Hai and Man Man are more compatible though bc Man Man views Bu Fan more like an idol and Bo Hai seems more like a close lover. I don’t know it just seems like Bu Fan and Man Man don’t have that “deep” connection you see in other dramas. Hope to see more Bu Fan and Bo Hai scenes I love their interactions hehe
Yes yes, more Bu Fan Bo Hai moments!! It will be interesting to see how they hang out now that Bo Hai can’t pass through walls/doors nor teleport at will. Hope Bo Hai will get healthy soon.
I hated the timing of the mum’s interruption of the wedding. The truth however needs to be revealed to Man Man sooner or later. Let’s now watch how the OTP go through this together.
Hope the mum gives her son his own choices this time. I have a feeling she will fall into her old ways again of loving him the way she thinks is love, maybe trying to match him with Man Man because she thinks from his diary that’s what he wanted, not understanding that he has such a deep relationship with Bu Fan and caring for Man Man beyond keeping her for himself.
Happy too! Bo Hai doesn’t deserve to die. Haha I think the writers were building up to this moment though. You are right, I think casting the leads in this drama was a gamble – normally the casting is really strong in these dramas but I think Bu Fan and Man man lack the chemistry that the leads in the other SETtv dramas have. We still have 20 more eps to go… I really wonder what’s in store for them. Most of the conflicts have been resolved (with the exception of the Rebecca one).
I foresee there will be something happening to one of the leads really soon. And also, Man Man’s mum – is she going to die? Sigh. Only bad things from this point onwards, to sustain this drama. I always think that the 70-ep dramas could have stopped in their 50th ep.
I’m looking forward to Ma Tong’s proposal, though! 🙂 That will add more comic relief to the seriousness…
I hope Man Man’s mum doesn’t die – don’t know if it’s a loophole of this drama but her mum doesn’t appear to be sick she looks rather young and healthy? Also if Man Man’s mum is going to pass away it doesn’t seem like there are enough episodes left to deal with her passing and aftermath + rebecca + bo hai’s mum. I’m thinking they might end the drama with her still being alive because her mum’s illness doesn’t seem to be the focus in the drama. I found it rather odd for the scriptwriters to add the terminal illness storyline into this drama if they didn’t intend to focus on it. I guess it enabled Man Man and Bu Fan to form a closer connection which again I feel is lackluster in this drama. You are right I think it might be the casting decision, maybe the producers didn’t put as much thought into it as other SETTV dramas since I find it rare for the leads in a SETTV drama to lack chemistry – they normally are pretty good at casting.
Yeah I agree things can only go bad from this point onwards… Still happy Bo Hai gets to live!! 🙂

OMG!!! Must be extremely hard for BuFan to watch his wife to hold another man (BoHai) screaming and crying so hard = you promise you won’t let me cry no more, open your eyes now and you still owe me an explanation. Oh Dear!!!
ManMan understand BuFan so well. She knows why BuFan didn’t tell her the first instance when he found out BoHai is still alive. What a perfect couple.
It is heart breaking to see BuFan so worried and insecure about their relationship now. That first hug after coming down from the car shows how worried he is, so hopeless. The second bear hug feels like he is thinking how to solve the issues, in his deep thoughts. Wonder what is the genius gonna do to help his wife ManMan. Whereas the lovely ManMan just smile 🙂 BuFan promise no matter what he will be by ManMan side. 🙂
BoHai, may go back to USA with his mum, ManMan has moved on. This is fated, otherwise 3 years ago BoHai would have been successful in proposing to ManMan.
Poor ManMan and Bu Fan suppose to have their honeymoon and spending time together as husband and wife. But with all the interruption, the almost completed wedding ceremony has to continue later. Let’s make sure it is a bigger and better one very very soon. We want to see the triplets BuFan and ManMan produce. ha ha ha
