don’t even know the meaning of idiom ‘qu gao he gua’ ? seriously?!? you called yourself graduate students?!?
LC is too lucky. He and JE was still in an quarrel but as soon as he asked JE to go somewhere with him she gives him her total support without regard to her own unhappiness.
I still think that JE will be proven right in the end. I think LC’s father sold the land maybe to repay a favor to whoever bought the land who might have helped him get LC’s grandfather out of trouble with the government. I believe that’s the reason why LC’s father did not like LC always living in his grandfather’s dream of the past. I think LC will deeply regret not letting go of the mess with the deed since his father is probably going to get in trouble because of the reporter’s snooping around. Maybe that’s why he had to leave JE for a period of time so as to keep her and her family out of the mess. Just like he said in the last episode, he should be afraid that his insistence will cost him JE.
I kinda disagree on what your assumption on LC dad. Cos if its to get LC grandfather out of trouble with the government then he wouldnt be recieving the money from the person. And its not once that he did something like this. He actually had 2 transactions in both 1987 and 1988.
