That’s why the preview seems familiar, it’s a remake like You’re beautiful. Jiro is so hot in here, he’s different from the other dramas I watch starring him. He’s very mature and more professional with his roles.
This drama reminds me of a korean drama You’re beautiful.
Because it’s a Remake of all the other Versions! Korean ,Japanese and now Taiwan!!!
I absolutely adore Jiro and I am finally glad to see him do a more serious role instead of playing the happy, fun loving brainless type of characters. This is a chance for Jiro to display a more mature side which I have always known he was born to play. I support you fully Jiro, and I can’t wait to watch this new Drama. With Jiro playing the lead I have no doubt that this Taiwanese version will not fall short of both the Korean and Japanese versions.
Jiro MAKES this role. and half of this drama. If it’s some other noob actor, half of us won’t even bother to look at it. He’s the perfect fit in my opinion. He always seemed cool and he’s virgo, so seeing him as a clean freak is so funny. haha.
Jiro is a wonderful actor. He is the only few actors who can do outrageously funny monkey faces and yet still look ridiculously good at the same time and he wasn’t afraid to ruin his image doing all those weird expressions. He can also be serious and influential in many situations of the shows he’s acted in such that his acting actually affected the emotions of the viewers without even them realizing it. I think many people dislike his role or critisized his acting in this drama is because he’s putting on an image now that does not seem like what all his characters were before but I think that’s bold too and it shows he’s willing to take on a new personality altogether. To be honest I was surprised to see the new image of Jiro too when I watch this preview but in no way I think he’s not suitable for this role. He deserves it for all his hard work from before. I will support Jiro all the way!
I think you guys are just seeing jiro for his past roles and have already type casted him that way , personally I love jiro especially in it started with a kiss I like that he’s gonna play someone opposite than his usual roles. Your beautiful is amazing I love all the actors in the korean version, although I love k dramas the reason why I also love Taiwanese dramas is because of the way the story is told and I fine that in the number of Taiwanese dramas I have watch they have always made me feel a connection on a deeper level. I hope that this story is like that. Honestly I’m watching this because of jiro and I wouldn’t have probably had it on my list to watched if I hadn’t been Jiro’s fan. Plus dudes its just a trailer how can you base a real opinion on the drama if that’s all you have seen, jiro might surprise you
The reason why Jiro doesn’t suit this character is probably because of his personality. He’s more of the ‘sunshine’ and ‘clueless’ type, like his character in Hana Kimi. Although its true that perhaps, this isn’t the best role suited for him, I think that he tries really hard, and I’m willing to watch this drama to see how it develops. I mean, hey. We just saw the preview, it may improve 🙂
Just shut the fuck up and appreciate the effort the actors are putting in. You obviously know shit about acting which is why you aren’t acting in this exact show.

The other cast looks ok… the girl seems to have potential. The only one that sticks out like a sore thumb – is Jiro. Don’t get me wrong, I seriously loved him in X family but this role doesn’t suit him at all.

Loved him in X family.. but I have to follow with the majority, that um yeah, i’m basically speechless on how to view this drama… Jiro is a great actor, and the other guy 2nd lead (who was also in X family season 2) is also a great actor, but both of them.. I don’t know.. sticking out a bit? and the fact they are so tall.. gosh… um iono. I will have to say sorry that I won’t be watching this until maybe it finishes airing.. I know I will upset some of you, but enjoy the drama, as I will be watching others instead..

Agreed! I thought it was only me who don’t like watching him. I think I really just want a change in actors. I would prob even watch if h doesn’t play the lead! He’ll prob get the chance to further develop as an actor
I noticed that Jiro really imitate 100% of Jang gung suk’s acting in Korean version. It is bad for Jiro. there is no progress or himself in this character. It is sad to see him like that. At least Wu Chun tried to grow from his idol side to venture into more mature and different character. Even baby Aaron tried to outgrow his idol side. Sorry for the blabbing I am a Fahrenheit fan so happy to see each member is doing well.
I disagree completely…He said he and the crew drew from the original manga series for this drama. The korean version is irrelevant. STFU about Aaron, he’s fake.
The girl really looks boyish when not style up. It is a success for her. She can con us into believing she is a boy. Hmm looks kind of interesting though my all time favourite will be the Korean version coz of Yong Hwa. But the guy who is Shin Woo here in Taiwan version kind of handsome I prefer him than Jiro here. He looks like Wang Lee Hom in a glance. what is his name?

Yeah, if it doesn’t live up to ur expectations, just drop it & switch to other channel’s drama. I will never critic a drama until I’ve seen it myself though…

Can’t wait for this drama. I watch both the Korean and Japan version and love it. I’m super happy that Jiro get the leading part. I think he can pull it off.
I don’t really like how jiro is the lead actor in so many dramas. I never thought his acting was any good, and I think it’s upsetting that other actors don’t get their chance to shine just because jiro is famous.
I don’t think what you are saying is fair, there are many people who like Jiro, many like him for his acting. There is nothing wrong with Jiro being famous, in fact other actors can learn from him to become famous. Do you think what I am saying is fair? I mean, you can disagree with me, but just because Jiro has many opportunities to act in dramas, doesn’t mean other actors cannot shine anymore. They have equal competition. 🙂
I agree with you that many people like his acting 🙂 I loved how he played ah join in it started with a kiss! But, i had a bit of trouble believing his acting in some of his other dramas. To me, he has this blank look a lot when he acts… I think being in fahrenheit really boosted his popularity the most. Because he has such a strong fan base, it seems like a more well anticipated drama if he were cast, right? I agree that it’s unfair to say that other actors don’t get to shine, because they might really not be as good as he was. But if one actor has the exact same acting ability as jiro, it’s likely that jiro would be chosen… 🙁
i think jiro is not really a good actor… i would love it if someone else leads this drama… sigh..
Looks like you’re biased indeed. Do you have any idea for how many years has Jiro been in the industry already? How much he had to fight to get to where he is now?! Jiro is the only member in FRH who didn’t become famous just out of luck (Zun was spotted in a plane and someone decided to make him an actor because he looked pretty. Calvin won the sunshine Boy contest in Canada and a contract with HIM and Aaron was a popular blogger). Jiro worked behind the scenes and as an assistant for many years before he actually got the chance to play Ah Jin (FRH came later. Jiro was already popular before frh). So, please, you can dislike his acting all you want, but don’t act like it’s unfair for him to be famous. There’s a lot of actors/singers a lot more popular and a lot less talented than Jiro who don’t get half of the criticism he gets. He works his butt off to provide a good life for his mother and he always gives his best in the roles he plays. Oh, and for your information, Jiro was personally hand-picked by the Japanese investors of FB to play the lead role.

wtf this is not bias. i can understand netizen ‘biased’ point of view as MOST popular idol drama is always jiro as the main lead. As you can see the absolute boyfriend the remake was also jiro. This does not show that his acting is bad but it just makes us abit ‘sick’ of it. Ofcourse we would want to see other people act as well. As you say if anyone is better than jiro then that was rly stupid because YES THERE IS. You probably only watch drama with jiro inside to make such a baseless and dumb statement. And hello, no one is criticizing him so pls calm the fuck down (sorry for my language). We are just stating our opinions. No bashing. We don rly care who picked him because that doesn’t matter isn’t it.
All of the guys are so good looking! But I don’t think I’ll enjoy the drama at all. It seems pretty ridiculous how important one girl is to that many guys
