The original japanese drama had the guy lost his memory in a car accident…but the taiwanese remake made the character go through the head trauma on an escalator because his female friend tripped over and fall on him and he knocked himself out…WTH…this is hilarious…
i think you remembered it wrong…the guy didn’t lose his memory in a car accident, he did fall off the escalator in the original drama
