  2. This whole story is considered as a new plot for taiwan dramas, but I don’t know why I just cannot stand when two ‘guys’ are being intimate. I ended up skipping the parts with ZF and YN, I love watching NN and QY tgt!!!!! Anyone has the same feeling???

  9. I really liked the humour at the last part of the episode though. The make out was intense and yet it brought out the flavour of the comedic sense in this show, which really drives the point home haha. And YN was the one who was wanted to kiss more (and you know), that really brings out the fact that she had to keep the secret for 26 years. I really loved the sweet parts of this show a lot. Although i did predict that ZF had already known much earlier (as many other fellow viewers have), and i was looking for to a more elaborate way for him to find out and how he really tried to keep the secret for her, but this would suffice with all the unexpected “diabetic” moments. I truly enjoyed the chemistry within the whole cast especially the leads and i hope they will collaborate again or even better just get together already.

  13. Awww, así me gusta una novela. Simplemente que no contenga tantos “dramas”, “trajédias” o “tristezas”… Que no se compliquen la vida… Chu Chu y Megan hacen una hermosa pareja, pero siendo realistas, es muy posible que sólo sean amigos. Y bueno, no hay nada de qué quejarse… sólo del final.. yo quería ver más… ya saben… más de su amor ♥ hahahah T-T

  15. I really enjoyed the whole comedy till the end. Even though it was based on a stupid fact that many Taiwanese people (including most my friends and relatives back there) are superstitious. Why the F do people still believe in fortune teller? Had Taiwan abandon Buddhism it would have been a stronger country.

    • I’m sorry, but it’s embedded in our culture. It has almost nothing to do with Buddhism anymore considering the fact that the majority of Taiwanese people are either atheist or Christian. However, you telling us to abandon that is almost the same as telling us to abandon our culture. Also, if we are so horribly superstitious, why do Americans let a Groundhog decide the length of your seasons? I normally don’t care when someone says something bad about the show because everyone has their own opinions but this is just ridiculous!

    • Americans have our superstitions too but we hide them under “we are better than that” attitude. You don’t have to shovel too far down. Side note I basically believe fortune tellers, unless they are just scam artists, are probably just people who are intuitive.

  16. the drama did not have too much of a conflict or drama since the beginning. initially i thought yanting would be an obstacle but no, she’s gone since ep 6. thought it would take longer for zifeng to accept the fact that he likes a boy but no, it only took him an episode. thought they would be in a cold relationship after the confessions in ep 7 but no, they stuck like gum in ep 8 XDDD these small elements were unpredictable

    tbh, i am quite sick and tired of meaningless conflicts in taiwan dramas that drag out time in the drama. especially in sanlih dramas. in the past few years, i have never finished any sanlih dramas, normally stopping after the middle mark. but gemen was different. there’s no doubt that there are many flaws in the storyline and the last two episodes were choppy, but i think the heartwarming plot and the chemistry between the actors and actresses can make me overlook the plot holes. maybe im just too addicted XDDD

    • Everything was predictable since the very beginning. This is a comedy. Started during the holiday season and finished off in the new year …. we don’t need hardcore drama … something like this … light, warm, touching, romantic, funny, and loving … the excellent acting and chemistry between the lead actor/ress is what fueled this comedy and kept audience attached and chased after for weeks.

      This is a drama I don’t mind watching over and over again. It’s not the very best but definitely addicting thanks to the couple.

  21. The ending was good but WOW … I was shocked that ZF knew YN is a gal way back … haha

    It’s unreasonable for ZF not to know her gender especially with so many bodily contact; then again, it would have been more fun had he not so … Haha

    Sad it’s coming to an end. I do feel the ending was a bit choppy … one scene up in the mountain and boom … wedding photos .. The end! Let’s wait and see next week special episode if it covers up.
