I can’t believe I haven’t heard about this drama until now since it hasn’t come up on the other sites I’m always on. I guess I will have to come on here more often.
This drama is good so far. It’s great to see Ella Chen acting again and to also see her working along with Chris Wu is very interesting. I’m looking forward to see what happens.

sigh romance element is everywhere in all types of tv shows…literally can’t find anything without containing this element…:(

this is such a simple “mystery”. the dead man is not x. the dead man is probably not the publisher either. x set the whole thing up, to see how the person who obtained the scripts would react. x did this to create a whole new novel. simple
But who killed the man? If this was all set up?
probably they used a john doe. that’s why the chemical solution was used to disfigure the body. anyway these details are not really important. The show wants to explore how do people react under such a ridiculous situation. It’s not a murder mystery solver.
I meant no matter who excecuted the killing, it’s kind of cruel (or I should say unreasonable) to do so just for observing people’s reaction. However, I totally agree with you about what message this show is trying to express.

Oh! Mystery solved before even watching show. At least X-Lies does a novice take on Taiwanese idol dramas, and I appreciate the effort.
