The last while have been a drop off from when the show started, if you don’t like it, it’s understandable, if your still curious where this is going, then read on.
The purpose now is to explain what happened between the author protagonist and Jia Lin. It’s been going through what they’ve been hiding and keeping to themselves, their own issues. For the author protagonist, it’s his mother and how he was an abandoned child. For Jia Lin, they are in the process of explaining what happened to her and why she act in a certain way. That’s all there is to it, the purpose and direction of this show is very straight forward and simple.

This is one show where I can’t put a finger on where it’s going. It started out really, really, good. But this ep just got strange! But I think it was an integral in introducing conflict into LXY and MKH’s relationship.
It’s great watching the NGs and behind-the-scenes in part 6. Realized that all the main male characters have senses of humour!
Uhh…ok I’m starting to think yuan jialin has autism or something….she clearly has social and communication issues. She’s exhibiting compulsive behavior as well as resistance to change. If the writers were trying to make her a villainous ex girlfriend, imo they failed. She’s not doing things that make me think “omg she’s so evil or tricky”. She’s just doing things where I think “wtf…what’s the point of that?” She doesn’t have a clear purpose and she’s unable to explain to people what her goal is. She can’t even communicate the simple fact that she wants to be with ke huai. She either has a disorder or is just plain stupid. I just can’t understand what they are trying to do with her character.
Agreed. I’m always puzzled in all her scenes..esp with her family etc. It all doesn’t make sense. like sudden death of her mom, it’s all kinda abrupt and really makes no sense, i always had to fast forward those scenes…
HAHA. I agree. She’s an enigma, seriously. Like how she told Xiaoyang that MKH and her would never break up… I was like…er? Is she living on a cloud? hahaha
Have you ever thought maybe that’s what they intended? With lines such as, “i don’t think she’s gone, she’s just lost”?
Villains exist in superhero movies, there is no such things as villains in real life. Things aren’t black and white, a man may have commited murder but he is a great dedicated father and husband. A woman may have cheated, but maybe because she was being abused.
There is always 2 sides to things. Life is a grey world. I do not understand the purpose of your comment. That she should be a villain instead? Or this story needs a villain?

i still think the ‘i don’t think she’s gone, she’s just lost’ is just dragging the time and confuse the viewers. come on after so many episodes already, should actually show out what is in JL’s bag? what she wants?
The running away scene is totally pointless. What are they trying to show? Twice of that scene again..
I actually thought she will go away next flight out to other country and few months later back or something like drop a message to everyone telling what is she thinking.. despite being forced by your dad to get marry, since you run away so many times.. does that it even matters plus her mom died. it defeats the purpose of getting married to him..
This is really a weird episode…

I cried so hard for yuan jialin… l can literally feel her pain 🙁 Please don’t pick on her! She can’t love the one she loves because of her dad’s demand and pressure… it’s not her choice.
i felt bad for her too,,but it is not a reason to say what she did to ke huai is right!
she can’t used her pain to hurt anyone elses….. she is so selfish,,,she can’t blessed what she had,,she always wanted whats she never had… she is disgusting !!!!!!!!!
I pity her too but if she wants to so call revenge on her father, she just to it to her father. She should not get her love one kehuai in trouble. She just wants her ways for everything. She only think for herself and hurt the two men. She think that she can get whatever men she wants. I hope kehuai will totally reject her and do not fall into her trap.
