ehehehe i hated her at first in inborn pair, since she was tormenting weicheng, but i eventually grew to like her.

I honestly don’t understand Gao Mama.
Sure, being grateful and repaying Daddy Jiang for his benevolence is important, but that’s a lot to be bestowing on your son. It’s like she’s completely overlooking and compensating his happiness for the Jiang’s. I mean, it looks quite obvious he isn’t blissfully in love and even miserable, may I add. Seems she even notices it..and tries to convince him about it.
Nonetheless, this makes a legit conflict for our couple..on top of a second lead competitor that’s about to show up. Things are getting good.
I want to add that Mom is being excessively humble..to a point that it seems like she is going out of her way to beat her son down.
Can’t wait for next week’s episode! My second lead is going to show up!!!!! Not that I don’t love Roy because I do, but I also like the second lead.
